Terms of service

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you access or use ModuloraAI (“the service”), operated by ModuloraAI (“we”). By accessing or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you access or use the service on behalf of an organization or entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity.

1. The service

ModuloraAI is a browser-based studio intelligence workspace designed for music creators, audio engineers, and sound designers. It provides five specialized assistant personas, client-side ITU-R BS.1770-4 loudness measurement, and structured audio engineering reference knowledge.

The service is provided on a Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) basis. ModuloraAI charges no software platform subscription fees for BYOK workspace access. You supply your own API key for Anthropic or an OpenAI-compatible provider, and your chosen provider bills your token consumption directly under your account with them.

Hosted access via Modulora Cloud prepaid token credits is currently planned and pending activation. Hosted token credits are not currently offered or sold. When launched, token credits will operate on a prepaid, pay-as-you-go basis without recurring monthly subscriptions.

2. Accounts and authentication

An authenticated user account is required to access the studio workspace. You must provide a valid email address to receive one-time authentication links. You are responsible for maintaining control of your email account and for all activity conducted through your authenticated session.

3. Fees and payment terms

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use ModuloraAI only for lawful creative and professional audio purposes. You must not:

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access for accounts that violate these terms.

5. Your content and data handling

You retain all rights to any audio files, text, lyrics, session data, and prompts you input into ModuloraAI, and to the generated outputs to the extent permitted by law.

Your conversations, notes, and API keys are stored locally within your browser. When you submit a prompt, conversation and studio context, selected text and images, and computed loudness measurements are transmitted to your selected AI provider. The current AI clients send audio measurements as text, not audio bytes. Review our privacy policy for detailed information on data practices.

6. AI-generated output disclaimer

Suggestions and outputs generated by AI assistants are starting points and creative tools, not infallible truths or certified professional guarantees. Physical loudness readings (LUFS, dBTP) are calculated directly from your audio samples; however, EQ recommendations, compressor settings, and mastering advice must always be verified by ear in your monitoring environment. AI outputs do not constitute legal, financial, or certified engineering advice.

7. Service availability and modifications

We endeavor to provide a reliable service, but ModuloraAI is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the service at any time.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where consumer protection legislation in your jurisdiction requires application of local consumer laws.

10. Changes to terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. When changes occur, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
